Switching the signal of T/C transmitters

We have a test equipment on which two T/C sensors are attached. We’d like to convert the T/C signals into 4-20 mAdc and send it to a controller unit. The controller unit receives the 4-20 mA signal and controls the rotating speed of an air blower at the test equipment in order to control temperature.

Now we need to select one of the two T/C sensor signals each case by case. However, the controller unit doesn’t have signal switching function and then accept only one 4-20 mA signal. Does M-System have any suitable unit and solution?

MS Word

M-System recommend that you install two T/C converters (model: M5TS) and an analog-switching module (model: MNV) to solve the problem. As for the MNV, specify “Double circuit” (suffix code 2) then the unit selects one signal as output from two signals according to switching command contact you provide. With above unit combination, you can switch a 4-20 mA signal from two (2) T/C transmitters and send it to the controller unit.
