Monitoring conveyer speed at the field panel

We monitor a conveyer speed of production line at the central monitor room. The conveyer moves forward and sometimes reverse in its operation.

We plan to monitor the conveyer speed at field end as well. We use a rotary encoder as a speed sensor and it outputs two-phase voltage pulse.

We’d like to make a field panel as small as we can. Does M-System have a small size transmitter and digital display to meet this requirement?

We recommend you to use our Encoder Speed Transmitter, model M2XRP2 and 2-wire (loop powered) DC Panel Meter, model 43AL.

The M2XRP2 is brand new unit from Mini-M Series, with compact shape and small footprint.

It converts a two-phase forward and reverse rotation pulse signal with 90-degree phase difference into a forward and reverse speed signal.

The 43AL is 2-wire type panel meter so that you can install it without dedicated power supply.

Please select 4-20 mAdc as the output of the M2XRP2 and connect it to the 43AL as shown in the figure.
