An engine pump refers to pumps that use an internal-combustion engine for motive power. Unlike those with electric motors, engine pumps run even if electrical power is no longer supplied from power companies during typhoons or other disasters. They can be used to discharge rainwater from flooding rivers, etc. The DL8 is installed in the engine pump control panel for facilities maintenance.
Measurement signals such as pressure, temperature and revolution speed of the engine are input to the DL8 and used as facilities operating information.
By building a VPN (Virtual Private Network), access from the outside is controlled and the security is ensured.
During periodic inspections, data saved in the SD card is collected and checked to see if measurement values are within normal ranges.
